THe peroid between 12/31 and Sunday 1/4 is a very differnet world then after the 4th. Are your dates firm?

What is your budget and would you be interested in changing rooms if it saved $$$. All the probetries in Tulum are small (unless you are doing an all inclusive) so taking a room that is not beach front till the weekend and then on the weekend moving to a beachfront will save you $$$.

Retiro Maya is a great spot, artist owner who is a good friend. Lu is quite a lady, she moved down about 6 years ago. Another place that could be very confortable is Zulum. This is a small hotel, very nice with a great welcoming feeling.

I see you are talking with Jody and she is very able to help you with your needs. If you would like feedback to her recommendations give a shout (-:

I was able to find a place for $95 a night plus 12% local tax, inTulum. Zahra, the Nohch room. They have one a bit less expensive, however it is a shared bathroom.
