- I own a home in Chan Chemuyil at Xcacel Beach and when I want to see people, and eat out and schmooze, I head for Tulum Beach. Usually I go to OM for the beach, the pizza and the laid back old Tulum style I have always relished. I started traveling to Tulum as far back as 1987 staying in Don Armando's Cabanas!
I have spent the in between years working abroad, raising my beautiful daughter and somehow, now, find myself owning a little sweet casa at Xcacel. It just feels like I have come full circle-it feels like home.
For those of you wanting an affordable alternative to hotels, I do rent my place out. I hope to build a circle of regulars. I am 10 minutes north of Tulum in Chemuyil.
