- I am a Reiki Master and Metamorphic Practitioner, I do these healing modalities in my home town in Canada and would be interested in talking to anyone interested in my services, whether it be for personal or for an addition to your business. I have family in Chemuyil but would prefer to live in Tulum.
Just back from Tulum
What a wonderful 3 weeks I have had this June, I spent my time with my daughter and met many of her friends in Tulum. I also went apartment hunting for this winter and know it will not be a problem in Nov when I come back. I checked out a few places, Maya Diving, these guys were very profesional and it was a great time, we went ocean and Cenote' diving, wow, what a blast. Also there is a small hotel you need to check out at the south edge of town, H2O, it is a beautiful place and so tranquil, the host and hostess, Min and Marco are wonderful people and have been in the area for 7 years, they are a wealth of information, tell them I sent you if you check it out...
I feel blessed I have Tulum to go to, thank you all and see you with any luck in November....

- As far as the Reiki..certainly, I have already been planning massages, for when I am down, Doing some dive training, with a LOT of equipment, much more than normal. I am also a Naturopathic physician, among other medical degrees, and know the importance on having my body, in tune if you will!! for I will be taking it to some extremes. I actually have a massage therapist that comes to my office once a week for myself and staff, (I actually do facial surgery during daylight hours), So the Reiki interest me greatly...Thanks

- yes.. I will have a car. Cancun and Playa are nice, but my activities are closer to tulum, Akumal is ok also. I am down almost once a month, and have just started looking around tulum..so any help would be greatly appreciated. Live in Maine, and need relief with sun and warm, Thanks and God Bless

- Okay. I am on my way back down to Chemuyil on Dec. 13th, I am so excited!!!!! Tulum here I come, lol.....anyway I plan on being there until the end of March, so if anyone would care to meet that would be wonderful.....this will be my first time spending the whole winter in this wonderful place. Also if you would care for a Reiki treatment I am sure we can arrange something....see you soon.....yahoo!!!

Thanks for the kind words and support. Whitney has been on stage since she was 8 and she drives us to keep her 'on stage'. We think it is great and when she actually got this offer to be produced it caused lots of family discussions. It is fun to see her as excited as she is (-:

We will be renting at first... and we are in contact with someone in Tulum pueblo that has a 2 bedroom place for rent with garden and all that fun stuff. Is there a website to find rentals easy at? Or do you know a couple?

I look forward to communicating with people before we get there and perhaps have some work/joy lined up,or at least people who are interested.
Do you know much about the Organic food (fruits and veggies) situation in Tulum? Are their local farmer's markets? Is organic (no pesticides or chemical ferts) known much there? Are their signs for it anywhere? Just wondering. Thanks a bunch!

I was at h20 while I was down, it is off the highway on the left handside at the southend of Tulum. Wow, what a beautiful place!! They have a diving training centre and the price for the training and rooms are very good. It's a botique hotel and very private with beautiful grounds.The owners have been there 8 years now and are very in tune with what is happening in the area. It's a wonderful place to post on our site...the www site is h2otulum.com .....and to all our friends, check it out while your down...it's worth the drive...hehe.

I was getting a little burned out with the Yucatan having been there so many times over a 30 years span. And, frankly, I'm extremely put off by realtors I know in Tulum and elsewhere who think land down there is bullet proof. I think the prices are out of line and vulgar. I'm sure there is a way to connect directly with an owner. I looked at a lot in Petempich Bay - about 2-3 miles from the entrance to Paradiso Club via sascab, bumpy road. It was $300K for a lot that is 50 feet (on the ocean) by 165 feet with no water, no septic and no electricity. It does front on the "road". There is a beautiful house next door. However, these lots are tiny and seem to be one after the other. I need space which means I'll have to go inland somewhat to get that space and some privacy. One can always go a few miles to the beach. Good luck with your search. You might contact Vera and Daniel Romo (Tulum realtors) at 608-335-0041. That is a US cell phone. Daniel is a Mexican National and a great, fun guy. Vera is his wife from Wisconsin I think. She's a huge health person. They know their stuff and I believe they are on the up and up. JB
