We're planning on moving to Tulum soon!

Making out way to Tulum to Live!

We've been planning a move to Tulum to live there!
In March of 2010 we'll be in Tulum following a conference in Merida, and we hope to meet up with other expats there for drinks, etc to discuss their experiences while living in Tulum. Looking for advice, and to make some friends! With any luck we'll find some work down there (Todd is an anthropologist) and be able to take the plunge!

Would love to chat with others who live their in advance on line before our trip!

Hoping to move to Tulum!

We're hoping to move to Tulum soon and would like to find long-term rentals (2 bedrooms) as close to the beach as we can, of course. Any assistance or info would be great!

I saw a couple of rentals on a website http://www.chemuyilproperty.com/rivieramayarentals.htm
The 2 houses for rent are in a sub-community of Chemuyil (10 min drive north of Tulum) and are just an 8 min walk to Xcacel beach. Take a peak and you might find your next home! My sister is renting out her home as well (she is not on this site yet though) and is asking $500 per month + utilities - I can send you pics of her home if your interested. Happy Searching!
