I have friend that live in both Tulum and down toward Punta Allen..... what a beautiful part of the world. One of my most memorable sights is sitting on Anna's Woods roof and watching the moon rise over the the Caribbean in the east as the sun set in the west over Assension Bay..... amazing (-:

Thanks for the kayak info...My co-workers and I just got back 10 days ago from Tulum and we wanted to kayak on the bay, but the gentleman at the Reserve entrance couldn't help us. So for the next time I come down I would like to do some kayaking.
You had mentioned that you have guests do you have a guesthouse down there or a small hotel?

- My story....... started coming to the region in 92, almost bought a hotel in Playa in 94. Made lots of friend from Playa to PA and built a few website for them back in 95.
I ended up doing a venture thing in NYC during the internet explosion, we started the ISP that is now Playa Wireless back in 97.
The few website we built turned into a fun biz so in 2002 when we shut down the NY offices I did a life style change and now I do soft adventure travel. We own this site and the PlayaSocialClub.com as well as booking sites like Tulum.com and PlayaDelCarmen.com
