Just spent 3 nts at Cabanas Copal. It was very cold; got to about 48 degrees at night but extra blankets were provided. I think it was the coldest they had remembered in some time. The days were beautiful and the staff there was wonderful. We had Cabana #23 which was an ideal location. Our cabana was $115 per nt. While there, we ate at El Tabano, Cetli and Don Cafeto's. Coming to Tulum

Can't wait. Another 2 1/2 weeks and we'll be there on the beautiful beaches of Tulum and away from the cold snowy windy weather of the midwest. We're staying a few nights at Cababas Copal and then on to Playa Mambo before a week in PDC to wrap it up. I tried to schedule it so we progressively get a bit more comfort in case we fine Copal a little tough but I think we'll be ok. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everybody, Rick
